Lennon Wall

The Lennon Wall in Prague is symbolic because it pushed the so-called Lennonism movement back in the late 1980s during the Communist regime. People back then aired their grievances by writing on this wall. Today, this special wall is filled with graffiti inspired by John Lennon and the Beatles.

For those of you who want to see this wall, it is located at Velkopřevorské Náměstí just a couple of steps away from Charles Bridge in the Malá Strana area.

Cirque de Glace

Last February 15, Nicoleta and I watched the Cirque de Glace show at Cez Arena in Ostrava. The show revolves around the story of the creation of our planet, man’s evolution and a journey to the limits of technology as a stunning ice spectacular, according to their site.

This lady was the star of the night.

Smart Casual Outfit

While I was in Ljubljana more than a week ago, I bought two pairs of trousers from Zara for only 9.99 euros or about Php 600 each. In the Philippines, I don't usually buy from Zara because the prices are way beyond my budget. I rarely find anything below Php 1000. So I was really surprised to snag such a sweet deal on trousers at one of Zara's outlets in Slovenia. I would love to wear more high-waist trousers like in this photo. This is the perfect smart casual workwear outfit.

See The Transformation

Over the past few months, my flat here in the Czech Republic has gone through extreme changes...from super messy to super clean!

I am a bit of a bipolar. There are times when I don't care about my mess at all, while there are also times when I get so obsessive-compulsive when it comes to cleaning my pad.

Boat-Neckline Dress

Last weekend, I had a great time strolling around Ljubljana in Slovenia. My only itinerary was to check out the important sights and monuments in the city, but I chanced upon a Zara outlet that was having a big big sale, so I ended up shopping as well!

I found a very elegant black dress with a unique boat-neckline on sale for only 9.99 euros. The original price was 69.95 euros! Could you believe that?

I loved it the moment I saw it but sadly, they didn't have my size because all sale items on display were already broken sizes. So I ended up buying it for my petite elder sister.

Paying It Forward

I have long wanted to whisk my parents away from their busy lives and take them to a relaxing vacation. Today, I asked them if they wanted to go to Hongkong and Macau this coming June and they said YES. Fortunately, Philippine Airlines was offering promo fares for roundtrip Manila-Hongkong tickets for only $168 per person.

H&M Shoe Fest

I hoarded a bunch of shoes and sandals from H&M during my recent vacation in Graz and Ljubljana. It was their post-Christmas sale and shoes were sold for only 10 euros!
