The Lucky One is a movie based on Nicholas Spark's best selling novel about a Marine who travels to North Carolina after his stint in Iraq in order to search for the woman he believes was his good luck charm during the war. Zac Efron really buffed up in the movie making him look more mature and sizzling hot!

The Avengers

Thanks to East West Bank, I was able to attend the premiere night of The Avengers at the Promenade Mall earlier tonight. I am not a big fan of action-packed movies, but this one is an exception! 

Felix

A month ago, I was able to purchase discounted restaurant vouchers from Cash Cash Pinoy for the A-list restaurant, Felix. My friends and I tried out this restaurant owned by the renowned Chef Florabel Co-Yatco. We were very impressed with the classy interiors and sleek leather couches. The restaurant would be a very ideal setting for dinner dates and business meetings.

For starters, we were served with their complimentary Hot Bonite Bread with Olive Oil, Basil and Red Pepper. For our main course, we ordered the Gaithersburg, which is braised short ribs with foie gras and brown rice. Plus the Rosie, which is bacon-wrapped roasted chicken with grape butter sauce and served with mushroom vegetable rice. We likewise tried the Lala, which is grilled fish with mixed vegetables and rice. Overall, the food really lived up to its owner's great reputation. I won't think twice of coming back here again.

For those of you who want to try out Felix, it is located at Greenbelt 5, Legaspi Street, Legaspi Village, Ayala Center, Makati City.

Payless Shoes

I rewarded myself with two pairs of shoes from Payless earlier today. I deserve this for working so hard these past few months.

Download Galore

It's Holy Week. I'm all alone at home. My aunt is at the mall while my cousins are out of town. So I am taking advantage of this special moment and downloading all the episodes of my favorite TV shows that I haven't watched before. I hope I finish downloading before the holy week ends so that I could start watching them. Our internet connection is still so slow even though I am the only person using it right now. When I was still studying in Japan, the download speed was nearly 500 kB/s. Heaven!

High Shine Gloss

I dropped by Charles & Keith in SM Megamall a couple of days ago. I spotted this ultra cute fluorescent-colored peep toe platforms and I can't stop thinking about it. I fancy the green one. Please be mine.

Mirror Mirror

Earlier tonight, Pia and I watched the movie, Mirror Mirror, starring Julia Roberts and Lily Collins. Among all the characters in this Snow White adaptation, I especially loved the seven cute rebels/thieves. They gave the movie a comedic touch. Two thumbs up!

A Day in the Mall

I love window shopping for my non-existent home. Haha! Earlier today, I was at SM Megamall's Homeworld and National Bookstore to de-stress!!!

SHADES OF BROWN: This 4-seater dining set is really a space-saver! Perfect for those living in condos! I also love the brown color palette of the two-seater sofa and rattan chair!

SHADES OF WHITE: I love collecting trinkets from various parts of the world. These shelves would be perfect for my vast collection! The minimalist glass-top table on the lower-right side would also be perfect for my future home office!

HAVE A SEAT: My favorite is the unique red chair on the lower left and the striped chair on the upper right. 

TAKE ME BACK TO PARIS: I love these vintage pillows as well as these red and black chairs!

STUDY TIME: I wish I had a study table as big as this way back when I was still in college.

MIX AND MATCH: The colors red, black and white look so good together! I love the classic and modern twist of the items below!

WANDERLUST: If I'll have lots of extra money, I would buy all of Frommer's books!

MORE TRAVEL BOOKS: I should add these to my Christmas wishlist!

OC-NESS: If I'll have my own home office someday, I would buy these colorful steel cabinets from National Bookstore for my filing system! I would also buy these eye-catching vintage boxes from Exciting Gifts and Goodies (EGG)! So pretty! 

Before I headed home, I dropped by SM Department Store and found these vintage Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn canvasses! The colorful picture frames and wall clocks also caught my attention!

According to Travbuddy, I have only visited 18% of the countries in the world. I have mostly visited countries in Asia and Europe. There are still so many other places to explore.
