After our leisurely stroll in Danshui, we took the train back to Taipei and went straight to Ximending, known as the "Harajuku of Taipei". We have been here a couple of days ago, but this time, our purpose was to have an early dinner at the famous Modern Toilet Restaurant. From the exterior alone, the quirkiness of the restaurant is already so evident.
We totally loved the interiors. They used bathtubs as tables and toilet bowls as chairs.
The main course is served in mini toilet bowls while their dessert is served in plates with manure cover. Haha! Five of us shared three orders of set menus. The set menu also included ice cream.
This is where we washed our hands before eating. What do you think?
